Workflow Item Type -- Edit, Set on clone, Multiselect

I am using a custom workflow for Ideas, and I want to use the same custom workflow for Initiatives and Features as well. However, when I clone the Ideas workflow, it sets the item type to Ideas and I can't change it. It would be beneficial to ask what item type when cloning a workflow, or better yet allow editing the item type of a workflow so it doesn't have to be recreated.  Also setting a workflow for multiple types would be beneficial.

P.S. I really needed this yesterday/now, but since it's not available I'm going to manually create 3 identical workflows for each item type so I set the status to not sure.  If we change the workflow in the future, I'll have to update it in 3 places instead of changing it once and cloning so we would still benefit from this functionality in the future.

    Thank you for your idea. The different various workflow types include different status categories that impact other functionality in Aha! For example, promoting ideas or shipping releases will automatically assign certain statuses based on the status category. 

    Due to the uniqueness of workflows for each record type, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
