I would like to update the management on a regular base on the status. It would be great if I can schedule this report, so it is automatically sent to the management i.e. every friday morning.
You now have the option to schedule email delivery of any saved Aha! view. Select a delivery cadence — daily, weekly, or monthly — and the time of day.
This would GREATLY HELP!!! as we status our ideas. Would like to be able to send weekly automatic reports to stakeholders of idea statuses
We are in the process of trying to figure a way to bring Aha data into Strikedeck and this feature would really help us avoid having to do it manually. Currently there is no out of the box connectors in Strikedeck for Aha and we are reviewing using the Aha API to do this.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our empathy session (or added a new comment to this idea). These use cases are so helpful! We will keep you posted as we make progress on this feature.
I would find it very useful to send out a weekly status report for my product. Would be nice to just have it scheduled, as the reports are all up to date with feature flow.
Internal distribution of roadmap without intervention would be huge for us. There are some logistics to overcome (more along the lines of determining what level of detail, so an "us" thing). Allowing users to subscribe then receive an updated roadmap, ideas portal, or other reports would streamline the process and allow our product management team to focus the time they would have spent prepping those reports on actually product managing.
Echo'ing comment below - delivery of reports without human intervention would definitely add value to Aha and allow seamless distribution of Product Roadmaps on a regular cadence.
It would be great to be able to schedule delivery of reports, dashboards and/or presentations. This would continue to put Aha data in front of our executives in a regular cadence not dependent on human intervention. That will continue to get our leadership to see the value in Aha. It would be win/win for us and Aha!
Scheduling of reports is a very important feature in a Product Roadmapping application. It helps all the key stakeholders updated, even if they miss to visit the application to view the progress. Hope to see this feature soon in the application
This would be fantastic.
As Mitch mentioned below, it would be great to have the option to output as a pdf for snapshot reports as well as an Aha! report/presentation for live data.
@Mitch -- thank you for the additional color
@Mauri - can you share what report format you would like to share the report?
Roy,
This would go to my exec board (non-AHA users)
@Ron Yang:
Would you be sharing the report with Aha! users or non-Aha! users?
Both. I would also like the option to send it to Slack, i.e. once a week it automatically posts the report to a specified Slack channel.
In a related question, would it be a link to the report in the Aha! application or the shared webpage?
Good question! For me, I'd like the option to automatically send an Exported PDF or Image, because to me a weekly report represents the moment in time of when the report was generated. Others may want to share the link or shared webpage which always shares the current view, which may be different by the time they click the link to view it.
I'm curious to learn more about how you would imagine this would work:
Would you be sharing the report with Aha! users or non-Aha! users?
In a related question, would it be a link to the report in the Aha! application or the shared webpage? Or some other format?
+1 I'd also like to schedule a report to be updates & sent to me on a regular basis.
This would be extremely handy to our weekly reviews of Ideas that come in! Please consider doing this soon.
This would help monthly Exec reporting
I simply cannot rely on management to remember yet another location to check reports. For things we need to report on regularly, we're far better suited with an automated email going out, putting the report(s) front and center. I'd like to be able to choose which reports going to whom and how frequently (per report and per person).
Yes please!
Best yet would be to schedule the report and export to excel.
I have created several important reports which I would like our Product team to review every day. The reports are really to help us ID non-conformance to process, and red flag in terms of delivery
