ability to limit scope/default scope of search

When I am searching for something it defaults to searching everything and the drop down box reflects as such. If I could set the scope of the default search for a product/product line the search results would be more relevant to what I am currently working on.

    Thank you for your idea. Currently you can filter by product after entering your search criteria. Clicking Search all content will take you to the search results page where you can click on a product to view results specific to that product.

    Given this capability and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time.

    I agree with Derek that the search result list is far too big and that it would be helpful to set a default scope of what the search will initially search. When I speak of this, I am specifically speaking about the list that appears below the search field in the toolbar.

    As an example, I search for "allergies" and I get two sub-sections in the list: Features and Requirements. I'm 99.9% only ever looking for Features and Ideas and almost never want to see search results for Requirements. In this example, I'd set my default search scope to exclude results for Requirements.

    The current search in Aha is way too broad for it to be useful.
