On the card layout it would be very useful to have a checkbox field for simple binary responses, e.g. yes/no, done/not done. Additionally the ability to count the number of boxes checked and display an icon for the percentage selected would allow us to summarize at a glance what the status/priority of the feature is. The specific scenario in our case is that we have three questions that need to be answered for each feature regarding novelty, need and revenue generation; if all three are selected then the feature has top priority but for each question not selected the feature falls in priority. Right now we have to open each feature and see how each question was answered. I tried implementing this as a scorecard, which displayed as a number on the feature in the board view but it wasn't well received. We want the questions visible on the feature at all times and not numerically quantified.
Thank you for the note. There is another workaround which you might consider using.
While we do not have custom checkbox field, there are a variety of other custom fields which could be used in the same way. A tag could also be used to show in a glance what the priority is based on your scoring concept.
You could then use a customized feature card layout to display this information on the card itself.
We realize that this is not exactly what you are looking for, but it could potentially reach the same goal. At this time, we are unlikely to make updates in this area based on current priorities and historical feedback in this area. We hope you can understand.
This is a must have for the new Salesforce integration to work effectively at my organization; we have dozens of checkbox fields used to track who is a customer, what groups do they belong to, etc. and would benefit greatly from being able to sync those in for reporting purposes.
Is there a fundamental problem with using Checkboxes? Seems like a standard UI element. I just want a Custom Field of type Checkbox, which I can filter on as "selected" or (blank).
