Would be great to have a premade data service in Power BI so we can use the data from Aha to see progress against other outcomes and data
Thank you for the request. You should know that the Aha! REST API is available and this is actually what we leverage when building in-house integrations.
At this time, we do not have near-term plans to build this specific integration based on current priorities and historical feedback. However, we would encourage you to use the API to build a custom application for your organization's use.
We use PowerBi extensively throughout our business and are currently having to manually update and manipulate export reports to be able to leverage our other systems. With Salesforce, you are able to create a report and then have it feed PowerBi without need to build an API or other data elements.
Hi Aha team. The above status as "unlikely to implement" is from 2017. Please confirm what is the intention with this, as we're 6 years down the line...
Unlikely to implement doesn't paint a good picture for future use of Aha. This is a must.
Aha to PowerBi integration is needed! Please! It is a powerful combo with visibilty to the highest levels of our organization! Do It! Do It!
This is very important. Please can you create a connector to connect Aha to Power BI.
Please can you create a connector to connect Aha to Power BI.
Would love to use this for full organization use but can't get buy in on current report availability. Lists are great and pivots are good but I can't even set a rolling date to keep a presentation current. How can you manage a roadmap with visibility, with those types of limitations? Many others as well when it comes to reporting. The whole point of entering data into Aha is to get information out to analyze. Missing a huge aspect of product management here for an organization.
I agree. Live integration with MS Power BI is a must. I'm regularly bumping into limitations on Aha's ability to provide reports. Something like power BI would be extremely helpful for executive reporting and getting them to fully support our use of Aha.
Echoing the comments below. The ability to have live data into PowerBI should be a must. It will help us with leadership buy-in to promote the use of Aha! All they see are the reports which aren't great visualizations.
@ron - I very much want to be able to, firstly, aggregate and relate Pendo content. For example, we run multi-part polls. I want to be able to quickly analyze using various parameters trends, differences, etc between responses. Segments are very limiting as I often want to see, of users from china, how many answer question1 as X - show me responses for question2...and show me the top features used from the aggregate (not from any one user).
I'd also want to compare Pendo data to internal app data (using MS Appinsights), and Google Analytics.
I also want to create a dashboard that displays key high-level Pendo metrics (NPS, PES (although I have issues with PES), retention, etc) along side Salesforce Case data, or other mechanisms used by the business to collect customer or business insights.
I'm curious -- what types of Aha! information would you want to see within Power BI? What types of information (from other sources) would this sit alongside within Power BI?
As many have noted below, we need a quick and easy integration between Aha! and Power BI in order to produce the dynamic dashboards that our executive leadership is requesting.
Just thinking if other way is possible? I have my project budget and expenditure power bi dashboard. Would it be possible for me to connect with Aha and use it like a report?
Aha! -> Power BI data integration would help me convince leadership that we need more Licenses for our team for sure.
This would be great. The current reporting out of Aha! looks poor, the data is all there but the presentation is terrible. We need a dashboard feature like Jira, or a way of pulling data into another system like PowerBI.
Echoing the needs, many of your competitors have this solution Jira, Asana, etc.
The need to page through the Aha API response makes the current API a non-starter for any integration with PowerBI, PowerPivot, or similar.
Until the paging limitation is removed, there is still a major need for this.
The Rest API works but is not very user friendly. A pure PowerBI integration would work wonders in terms of visibility into your data. Or even just the chance to add Charts to your Homescreen
I agree with Ken, Power BI would solve many of the issues that are impacting acceptance of Aha! in our organization by some senior management.
The API is not really a good solution with this. Because of paging, and the format of the Jason data, we would need to build an app that scrapes the data from the API, puts it to a database, and then point Power BI to that database.
Integration with Power BI would solve many of the issues that are impacting acceptance of Aha! in our organization by some senior management. Mainly the reporting/notebook capabilities in Aha do not provide the ability to create the type of status dashboards that many people expect. Power BI and their competition would fill that gap.
