Tag count in charts

Currently you can report on the number of records associated with a given tag.
Need the ability to report on the number of tags connected to a record.
Eg: A count if a feature has 1, 2, 3 etc tags associated with it.
If you create a pivot with a count report, it does not count tags uniquely and gives incorrect outputs (it reports the value of "1" for everything even if a feature has 0 tags or multiple tags).

Thanks, but this is the approach I was using already and it gives the opposite of what I'm looking for. I did discuss this with Support before adding the idea.
The approach in the admin response provides a chart of competitor name by tag value, with tag names on the x-axis. I would like tag count by competitor name, with competitors on the x-axis.
