If we were to open our ideas portal up to the public we would want an obscenity filter

Thank you for the idea. Given the low volume of support for this idea, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time.
It is currently possible to enable a spam filter which will catch some of this. And you can set ideas as private by default if you want to be sure to review and approve them first. We hope that helps!

That said, a potential workaround in the meantime is to set your Default idea visibility to "private," which would allow you to moderate ideas and change them to "public" once the content is "approved."
