Certainly in the digital world, this would be an invaluable and time-saving way to be able to measure the success of initiatives against goals.
If there were a way of entering the live data and performing a report about how well it worked (perhaps even some additional metrics to include budget so that an ROI calculation can be made), with an integration with Google Analytics and similar sources so that this would be automatic, Product Owners would be able to measure their success, learn from unsuccessful initiatives, and provide sales documentation to prove themselves to future clients.

And for this reason, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time. It is currently possible to use custom worksheets with Enterprise+ plan, which behaves like a spreadsheet.
