Adding an alert any time a new idea is added

I am in charge of reviewing incoming project requests or 'ideas.' As it stands today, I have to log into AHA daily, to check and see if there has been any activity. I would like to be able to have an email sent, as a means to notify me, any time a new project idea is submitted; this way I do not have to log into the system. Is that possible or does AHA already have that functionality?

The best way to achieve this is to add yourself as a Watcher to the Ideas page itself. This is available below the New idea button on the Ideas overview page. This would allow you to receive emails whenever there are new ideas, as well as new comments (which is perfect, in case you need to respond to customers).

It's also possible create a custom Slack channel based on Idea names. This is available in the Integrations section of Product settings.

Hi - I see this response is from back in 2016. I'm trying to do the same thing as the user above, but I don't see anywhere to add myself as a watcher to the ideas page. Where can I do this? Thanks

Our portal is public and we'd like the users of the portal to get a notification when a new idea is added, or to get a regular digest of new ideas that have been added, because it will be incentive for them to engage with new ideas and make them aware without having to constantly check the portal for new ideas.
