Add ability to create custom Actions for Idea, Feature and Release Workflows

I would like to have the ability to add custom actions to the workflows.
For example:
There are the transition buttons that can be configured for the Feature Workflow that will change the Status. It would be cool to be able to add to that functionality to automatically assign a Feature to someone, add them to the Watchers list and notify people.

Provide a feature to allow status changes to kick off notifications alerts or create to-dos for team members. We have QA and BA staff that would like to automate To-Dos and notifications when statuses are changed by the product team. For example.....
