Problem: I don't have time to find, download, and upload competitive images to our strategy page, especially when I know there are better (faster) ways to do this.
Current State:
In order to designate a logo for a competitor, I must upload an image already on my hard drive. This would be OK if I actually had the images on my harddrive.
Proposed Future State:
Allow me to designate a logo for a competitor via a public URL. This way, I don't have to download lots of content to my computer just to re-upload it, especially when it's already served elsewhere.
EVEN BETTER:
Integrate with Google Images API and allow me to search Google Images from within Aha! to find competitor logos. This would be incredibly convenient.
I probably won't be uploading any images until this is there, unless I have some spare time. (unlikely)
Thanks!
Kevin
We can see the value in automatically assigning logos via URLs, as this would save time.
However, based on the current existing functionality, combined with current priorities, we are unlikely to make changes in this area. We hope you can understand.
