When creating a list report or a pivot, I need the ability to show the 'Shipped On' date in a release. The external dates and project dates aren't quite good enough when I want to display the difference between planned vs actual.
When I add that option it shows the date that the status was updated to shipped. It does not display the shipped on date that I manually enter when I hit the 'Ship It' button. I want that shipped on date, not that date the status was changed.
You can show the date a release was shipped by choosing the "Status changed to shipped" column and adding it to your report. You will need to choose the version of this field that applies to the workflow used in your releases.
WOW! Yes, I can verify that it is working in production. That's amazingly fast response time. Thanks so much!
Thanks, that made it clearer. That column is now available. It is named "Released on date".
