Public comment with a link to an idea (hashtag link) sends users to the wrong login.

When I use a hashtag to link to an idea in a comment, it should link to the publicly viewable one, not require a login.

Thank you for the idea. We have disabled the ability to use # for record links in portal comments in order to prevent this issue. Instead, you can manually add a URL that goes to the idea in the portal. This has been the case for a while now, but the idea status was out-of-date.

If I'm logged into the Ideas area as an Aha! user (not portal) and I click on the public comments area, why does it let me use the hashtag at all if it's going to link to the internal area for Aha! users only?

Seems like if I'm posting a public comment, it should link to the portal view of that idea (or nothing at all, to be honest).

Hi Jake -- in what object are you using hashtags to link to ideas? Do you mean you are using them to refer portal users (not Aha! users) to other ideas? Hashtags are meant for reference inside of Aha! and that means that only Aha! users (not portal users) would have access. Please clarify your use case please.
