Because a product can only be assigned to one Product Line, we have a flat product line that consists of ~20 products. When choosing a product from the top left filter, the products should be sorted in alphabetical order to allow me to quickly find the product I want.
You can create the order in which workspaces are displayed. You can sort your product hierarchy by going to Settings ⚙️ > Account > Configure workspaces. You can then drag and drop your products into the order that you want. When you hover over any workspace, the control to move it will appear.
The workaround works for me. Although it took me a while to find the right configuration area: It's under "Account Settings"->Configure Products. It's NOT under the settings of your product line.
To those struggling with this workaround because they are facing dozens of products (because actually being "projects"): I think the key problem is that you use Aha! the wrong way! "Projects" are supposed to be handled as "Initiatives" in Aha, arriving as "Ideas". You link these projects to your products because these sustainable products are the capabilities (or services) which you want to build with your team along with the project implementation.
Maybe this requriements a fundamental re-thinking of your way-of-working, but hey, after all Aha is a PRODUCT Management tool, not a PROJECT Management tool. And even if your focus (in a big IT organization) is always "making Business happy by delivering projects", I guarantee you that you will be even more successful once you start adapting the "product" view on all your work.

Please reopen as this is a workaround, not a solve. If I create new Products, as an admin I have to manually put them in the desired order. There should be an easy 'alpha' sort option.
I'm disappointed to see this marked as " Already exists" unless I'm missing a setting. Per the admin response, yes, a workaround (drag and drop) exists, but the feature as requested (alpha sort) does not.
The need for this very simple feature becomes especially obvious when working with dozens of products (renamed to projects, in my case). Drag and dropping items up and down more than a page full of items seems simply unnecessary in Aha's otherwise incredibly intuitive and customizable system.
I could have reduced the need for this manual sort by taking a different approach to importing the items and organizing them into product lines, but I never imagined that a simple alpha sort wouldn't be available, or even automatic.
I agree this does not solve the problem.
We have multiple product lines and products within those product lines, but when they are presented within the idea portal they are not sorted alphabetically. I don't think the suggestion above solves this problem
