Link product/workspace specific competitor records to inherited competitors from the parent line

We want to have our overall competitor profiles at the highest level of our products hierarchy where we would have general company info. Then at the specific product level we want to be able to gather how that competitor competes specific to that product and then link it back to the parent line competitor profile.

We have a similar need, as we have competitors with a number of different product lines that map to our different product lines. Yet having to rewrite company info within each product line would most likely result in obsolete data. And being able to link parent competitor info to competitor children and vice versa would really improve the competitive workflow.
It should possible to see children at parent level and parent and siblings and child level.

this is very similar to what we are trying to do as we want to define key companies at the highest level of our hierarchy that will contain general company info and then create individual products as competitors that will be tracked and responsible to maintain by specific product groups in child workspaces. if we can add a relationship then we can view the competitor company and then see all of its products in its related tab.
