New UI for the Features board - Ability to save custom roadmap's and workflow boards

The new UI for the Feature board is useful, however although we are big users of the workflow board and I would like to encourage its use more the default view has a few limitations. When I open the workflow board from the drop-down it adds swimlanes for a bunch of users who are contributors through inheritance. I would only like those users who are directly contributors to my workspace shown in this view. Additionally, many of our users do not assign a resource to epics, as they are typically cross functional or worked on by a number of people. Therefore defaulting to swimlanes by user is annoying. Really when I select that drop-down I want to the option to use a saved workflow as my default. This applies for the roadmap too.
