Ability to Prevent Changes to Fields Merged

We'd like the ability to "lock" fields or make them read-only. Product owners could lock fields that they know shouldn't be changed as to prevent others with edit rights to do so. Alternatively, administrators could make it so that certain fields will automatically populate data (using an automation rule) and then make it read-only to prevent changes. This could also include a list of people allowed to make updates.

Alternatively, we could have a pop-up that notifies the product owner that a different user wants to change something.
