It would be helpful if themes to features mapping could be possible while bringing the data from Rally to Aha. Currently the mapping works for immideate parent child relationships like Reuirements to Features and Features to Master Features/Epics. The level above needs to be mapped manually
Thank you for the additional information! Is it a good summary to say that you would like
A theme's page in Aha! to show
The epics that are directly linked
And the features that are children of those epics
And on a feature's page in Aha!, show
The theme(s) that are linked to the parent epic
As you have noticed, Aha! only shows themes or features that are directly linked, not linked through a parent/child. This is because some customers may have a situation where not all features in an epic contribute to all of the epic's themes.
There is an idea in the ideas portal for this type of behavior. I am going to merge this idea into that one, but let us know if you think it is different.
Thanks again for taking the time to share!
Hi Austin,
Sure I can provide more details here. Themes are portfolio record types that I created in Rally. They are mapped to Initiatives (we term them as themes) in Aha. I have used record links. The problem is I have 3 layers. Themes are the top most followed by Epics and Features. Parent to child relationship exists between Themes to Epics and Epics to Features. But if I open features they won't show themes. The field is apparently blank. Similarly if I go to Strategy > Themes, the themes will display Epics and feature section is just blank. Is there anyway we can get them automatically mapped?
Cheers,
Prasanna
Hi there, could you provide more information about your request? Are themes a portfolio item or other record type you have created in Rally? Are they mapped to a record type in Aha!? If so, then it should be possible to create a links to mapping for these in your integration mappings. Thanks!
