Choose the color of a Releases in Gantt Roadmap

In the Gantt roadmap while viewing Epics (or Features) would like to color by release to not be the release status color. It would be easier to see which epics are belonging to future releases instead of all a pink/red color for the status.

    Thanks for the idea!

You can customize your Gantt chart to colour by release from the Master feature tab. Click on the settings icon and select Color bars by release. (see attached)

You can also use the Strategic roadmap to show your master features and features by initiative, and colour by release in the same way. For more details, see the Strategic roadmap article.

Ok thanks Austin, yes was hoping to colour the release bar itself to help identify/plan which team might be allocated to the work for forward planning. Have now opened a support chat also, thanks

Hi there, yes the color by release option is currently available only in the epics view of the Gantt chart. This setting colors the records show by the release they are assigned to. We have not added this as an option on the releases view since it already groups every record by release.

Are you hoping to see all records, including the release bar, use the same color based on release?

Currently, the colour is randomly set and not editable if you select "color by release". We do not currently have plans to edit the colour.
