Our digital product team has a bunch of abandoned initiatives and our leadership wants us to now capture these as ideas and store as backlog there. Is there a way to demote or roll back an initiative to an idea if it was not executed? Would be great to not have to manually recreate these....
Thank you for your idea. One suggestion here would be to export the initiatives to CSV using a list report. You could then use the import from CSV to import these as ideas.
Given the option above and other priorities we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
This happens a lot where C level management may want to remove priority on some initiatives so we would like to de-clutter the initiatives view, chart and roadmap by moving it back to idea.
Current work around is to convert to epic and create related idea, then delete the epic
