Configurable character limit for fields Merged

The ability to define the character limit for standard and custom fields, particularly the idea name, would be helpful for those who idea updates to external systems. Currently, the idea name is limited to 65000 characters, however for teams that have workflows that include sharing ideas directly into products like JIRA (by using tools built to use the API), this can cause a challenge since JIRA has a set limit of 256 characters for a record name. The option to limit a field to a certain character limit would be very helpful.
