Hi there,
I have identified a problem that might be good to find a solution for. When using workflow view, default swimline setting is based on user picker. It would be a quick win to have a button that would automatically pick users that have assigned features (or other entities) rather then making us to manually go through the whole user lists (dozens to hundreds of people...).
Aha - I see this is still open for future consideration, but similar ideas I-4871, I-7077, and I-6872 have all been marked "unlikely to implement". We have 215 users in our account. Our standard user permissions give everyone Reviewer to all workspaces - a level of transparency which I think is quite common. When one of my project managers opens up workflow view in her own workspace, she is presented with a default view showing swimlanes for the first 50 users alphabetically in our entire organization. This immediately breaks the view. Her options are to a) turn off the group by assignee option and then lose much of the benefit of the workflow view, or b) manually select the users who are on her team, by hand from a list of 215, hoping she doesn't miss anyone. While (b) can be somewhat improved by then saving the view, teams are dynamic (so now she has to maintain the view) and there could be a case where a user from another team has a one-off assignment in this workspace that we need to see. Multiply that experience by dozens of project and product managers in our organization! Since this idea has been requested several times, and rejected, can you please explain what use case the workflow view is intended for then? Surely you didn't test it in our configuration (many users, all with viewer) and say "Gosh, THIS is loveable! Ship it!!!"
