Custom Field Dependent Dropdown Merged

Hi, I would like to suggest a simple two or three level dependent drop down for Custom Fields.  I realize Custom Tables may solve this, but I was thinking of something without that level of complexity.  Also, Custom Tables are only available on the Enterprise plan and that is a big step on the license fee.

What I mean by "dependent Dropdown," as I've seen this named various ways, is the ability to have one custom field determine the value of a dependent one.  For example, if you had fields with Cities and States, you would only get select Cities in a given State if that State was first chosen.  Or, if you had a food list - the first option would be "fruit" or "vegetables" or "meat," and the individual types in the next drop down - "apple" or "orange" if fruit is chosen, etc.

I think this would give another level of usefulness to already powerful custom fields, and hopefully you guys could simply pull what I assume is functionality already present in Custom Tables and surface this part of that to customers that aren't all the way up on the Enterprise accounts!

Thanks for considering!

We would like this implemented as well.

Here's the example we drew up:

Is it possible to display options from a custom field based on the selection of another custom field?

    Ex:

    Custom Field 1:
    Coffee
    Tea

    Custom Field 2:
    Cappuccino
    Latte
    Green Tea
    Black Tea

If I select "Coffee" in field 1, then only "Cappuccino" and "Latte" are available options in field 2.

*Note in our actual scenario, Custom Field 1 has ~15 values and Custom Field 2 has ~300 values

For everyone's information, there is a workaround:

Field 1 has the chosen values (Ex: Coffee, Tea)
Field 2 has the prefix of field 1 and the values of 2
    (Ex: Coffee - Cappuccino
    Coffee - Latte
    Tea - Green Tea
    Tea - Black Tea)

    Not ideal, but possible
