    Thank you for your idea. Currently the release status does not update automatically based on feature status. This is intentional as many teams have other release-related activities that they still track within release phases and milestones. Since shipping the release will automatically remove it from the features board and the default view of the gantt chart, making it more challenging to manage these other activities, we leave this as an explicit action.

    At this time given the explanation above and historical feedback, we are unlikely to implement this idea. We hope you can understand.
