Selectively choose which master features display on roadmap

There are instances where we need to create a master feature but the master feature isn't something I want to display on our roadmap (usually because it's trivial). I'm using the features roadmap and including master features in the configuration because I need to show both in one view. However, unlike features, I'm required to show all master features. I need the ability to hide Master Features as we are allowed to do for Features.
