Aha! user should be able to check a box on their public idea portal settings to require "guest" idea submitters to validate their email prior to submitting an idea, commenting, or voting. This would provide a safeguard against SPAM and otherwise abusive users on public portals.
Aha! seems to have a really bad habit of not incorporating common sense or minimum functionality requirements in to their product.
This should be considered essential.
