Structured fields to show back in portal

We are using the ideas portal as our feature request tool which is used almost exclusivley by our internal pre-sales teams. For any request that we feel has merit results in Product Managament having to provide meaningful information back to pre-sales via the portal such as an assesment of effort, impact and target date for implementation or effort needed for implementation. This is information that is provided by our development teams and at the moment we would have to put that information in the comments field. What we would like is the ability to create structured fields (in addition to the comments field) that would allow us to put this information in. This would provide the ability for us to make the Product Managers more disciplined with the information that they have to provide back to requests.

    Thank you for your idea. This is currently possible using custom fields. You can create custom ideas fields and then include them in your Ideas portals custom field layout. This article describes how to set this up in more detail.
