Enable or disable users in bulk using CSV import

What is the challenge?

• When you manage many thousands of users (15K+), disabling hundreds of them with search and select in the user interface is slow.

• Importing users from a CSV file updates their permissions but leaves disabled users disabled. There is no way to reactivate users in bulk.

What is the impact?

• Administrators spend hours every month disabling users who have not accessed Aha! software within their company policy (90 days).

• Restoring access for a group of users takes the same manual effort.

Describe your idea.

• Add an optional Active column to the users CSV import.

• true: enable or reactivate the user. This requires an available seat.

• false: disable the user.

• Blank or column missing: existing users keep their current status, and new users are added as active.
