Allow Elle to read dashboards

What is the challenge?
Elle cannot currently access or interpret a dashboard directly, even when given the dashboard URL or when the dashboard is visible on the page. Instead, it needs access to the underlying report or reports individually.

This creates friction when we want Elle to work from the same dashboard view that humans use. In our case, we want to ask Elle to audit or analyze the data shown in a dashboard, but today that requires us to identify and reference each source report separately.

What is the impact?
This makes scheduled tasks, skills, and custom instructions harder to maintain. If those automations are built against individual reports, any change to the underlying reports means we also have to remember to update every related task, skill, and instruction.

If Elle could work directly from a dashboard, the dashboard could remain the stable reference point while the underlying reports evolve. That would reduce maintenance overhead, lower the risk of broken automations, and make dashboard-based audits much easier to scale.

Describe your idea.
Give Elle the ability to access, read, and analyze dashboards directly, including via dashboard URLs and dashboards currently in view.

Ideally, Elle should be able to:

  • interpret the dashboard as a whole

  • analyze the reports and visualizations within it

  • answer questions based on the dashboard content

  • use dashboards as inputs for scheduled tasks, skills, and instructions

This would let teams use dashboards as the primary interface for AI-driven analysis and audits, instead of managing a growing set of separate report references.
