Sortable Kanban view in Teamwork (sort by parent score, due date and/or epic custom field)

What is the challenge?

• The Teamwork kanban board has no way to order cards by priority, so cards sit in status columns in whatever order they were placed.

• A UX/UI team has to open a separate list report to see what is highest priority, then move cards by hand to match.

• Priority set in Aha! Roadmaps does not carry through to the board, so designers have to ask product which item comes first.

What is the impact?

• UX/UI teams run design work that must finish before engineering starts. Working in the wrong order puts development dates at risk.

• Every planning cycle costs manual reprioritization: check the report, then reorder the board to match.

• A list report ranked by score with due dates already solves this. Without ordering, the board is a better visual and a worse tool, which makes it a step down from the existing workflow.

Describe your idea.

• Sort cards in the kanban board automatically by the parent epic's score, ideally the epic's final or custom score.

• Support sorting by due date as an alternative when score-based sorting is not available.

• Hold that order in the board view itself, not only in list and pivot reports.

• Apply the same ordering to the prioritized backlog.

• Keep the ordering tied to the score already set in Aha! Roadmaps so priority flows down to the team doing the work.
