When an idea is marked as shipped, Aha! automation can send an admin response, but it cannot dynamically include the linked release name in that message. This forces teams to use generic responses or manually edit each shipped notification, which adds extra effort, reduces consistency, and gives submitters less clarity about exactly where their idea was delivered. Currently we do have an option in the Automation to link Field option data to be linked into the Admin response to share an update to the requestor.
Without the ability to include the release name dynamically in shipped idea responses, teams spend extra time manually updating notifications or settle for generic messages. This reduces efficiency, creates inconsistent communication, and makes it harder for customers and internal stakeholders to clearly understand when and in which release their idea was delivered.
Add support for a dynamic release name field in idea automation responses so that when an idea is marked as shipped, the response can automatically include the name of the linked release. This would let teams send clear, consistent, and fully automated shipped notifications without manual editing. For example, instead of a generic response, the automation could post: “This idea shipped in Release 26.3.”
