Duplication of epic should honor mandatory fields defined for the epic in the layout

What is the challenge?

• In our epic layout we have defined some mandatory custom fields that PM need to fill in and these changes were done recently. However, we see PM's creating epics without mandatory fields by using 'Duplicate epic' option which does not enforce these mandatory fields. As a result, we have to follow up multiple times for them to fill up the mandatory fields in the epic.

What is the impact?

Epics created without mandatory fields which are needed for tracking and reporting.

Describe your idea.

• When duplicating an epic, please honor the mandatory fields defined in the epic layout and prompt the PM's to enter the mandatory fields before they are able to successfully duplicate an epic.
