More options for setting the default release on new records in workspace settings

What is the challenge?

• The default release setting in workspace settings is limited to first parking lot, first release, or a specific parking lot. There is no way to designate a specific release as the default or flag a release as the one new records should land in automatically.

What is the impact?

• Teams end up with new records landing in the wrong release by default, requiring manual reassignment. This is especially disruptive for teams managing multiple active releases at once, where "first release" by date doesn't reflect the release they are actually working in.

Describe your idea.

• Expand the default release options in workspace settings to give admins more control. This could include the ability to pin or flag a specific release as the default for new records, or add a designation on the release itself that tells Aha! to use it as the default. This would give teams flexibility to define what "default" means for their workflow rather than relying solely on date order or parking lot logic.
