Personal memory for Elle

What is the challenge?

  • Elle starts every conversation with no memory of prior sessions. Corrections, preferences, and working context disappear when the chat closes.

  • If you teach Elle your writing style or explain a product decision, you have to re-explain it next time (or manually select the custom instructions you wrote).

What is the impact?

  • Custom instructions partially address this but are static text you write and maintain manually. They do not learn or adapt. The burden of keeping Elle informed falls entirely on you, which limits how useful Elle can be over time.

Describe your idea.

  • Elle stores preferences, corrections, and working context that persist across sessions. When you correct Elle ("always use active voice" or "keep summaries under three sentences"), the correction sticks.

  • When you confirm a non-obvious approach, Elle remembers the validated pattern.

  • You can view, edit, and delete what Elle remembers at Settings > Personal.

Elle, the AI assistant in Aha! software, now supports personal memory. Elle will remember preferences, corrections, and working context across sessions. When you correct Elle or confirm a non-obvious approach, that learning persists so you do not have to re-explain it the next time you open a chat.

You can view, edit, and delete what Elle remembers at Settings → Personal.
