What is the challenge? |
We have users that work for several different orgs because they offer technology or professional services. They have a separate email for each organization that they support because they are licensed users in their respective systems - that is how they access the software. Consequently, they are also submitting on ideas on behalf of that organization that they are working for as well as their own in support of their own business. I can have 50+ records for the same "contact' because of the number of emails and orgs that they are working with. |

What is the impact? |
Difficult to maintain the relationships across all these different contacts so that we are able to get clean reporting on the idea engagement of these users and they can also inflate votes when they login for every org to vote on their behalf. |
Describe your idea |
Allow to create a primary contact record that allows us to capture all activity, regardless of the email that they used to access (or via SSO from our application). A nice to have is the ability to allow vote tracking at the primary contact so that they cannot vote more than once on an idea, even when they have separate user records. |
