What is the challenge? |
Currently, when creating scorecards there is no option to apply prefixes or suffixes (such as $ or K) to the final calculated score. While prefix and suffix formatting is supported in custom fields, this formatting is lost when the same custom fields are used within scorecards to generate the final score through automated metrics. |
What is the impact? |
The absence of prefix and suffix formatting causes the final scorecard values to appear unclear and unprofessional. For example, annual financial estimates displayed without $ or K lack context and can be confusing for stakeholders. This impacts reporting quality, executive readability, and overall confidence in scorecard outputs. |
Describe your idea |
Introduce an option within scorecard configuration to define prefixes and suffixes for automated metric outputs—similar to what is currently available for custom fields. For example, allowing a prefix of $ and a suffix of K would enable clear and consistent display of annual estimates in scorecards. This enhancement would ensure formatting consistency across custom fields and scorecards, significantly improving data presentation and usability. |
