Admin Response Description field to other email notifications (Status changed)

What is the challenge?

The challenge is twofold: 1. we are spamming our idea portal users with status changes and admin responses.
2. Sometimes people get status changes and not the admin response (because an update, not a new message was made).

This is particularly bad when we reject an idea and people miss the reason why because they didn't see (or get) the admin response.

What is the impact?

We are strugglihng with portal users disengaging because of excessive emails or not enough detail on them.

Describe your idea

I simply would like to have all available fields on all email templates. Right now, I cannot add a status to an admin response or an admin response description to a status changed email.

I really don't understand how such a limiting system comes from the same team that enables flexibility everywhere else in the AHA ecosystem. Sorry for the bluntness!
