Add additional user analytics

What is the challenge?

Current analytics only provide aggregated, anonymous counts - so we cannot tell if repeated searches/views are from one user struggling with the same issue, or many different users across organizations.

What is the impact?

Without this context is easy to misread the data. A popular article might just mean one person is stuck and keeps searching, or it could mean lots of customers need the same information. Not knowing who's using the knowledge base makes it hard to measure real demand or spot gaps.

Describe your idea

Enhance analytics to include user/domain level insights:

  • Distinguish between internal teams vs external customers.

  • Track whether searches/views are from the same user repeatedly or from multiple unique users.

  • Group usage by customer domain/organization to highlight which accounts are using the KB content most.
