When creating a report add Users as record type

What is the challenge?

Workflow reports allow for Users to be selected. This means that if they have no data, they are still visible.

A similar feature for list reports or in particular pivot reports would be very useful.

Use case

I have a pivot report that shows the sum of billable remaining effort as recorded on a requirement for each user (we have a custom "Is billable" field on requirements). This is a very useful way of understanding currently assigned billable work assigned to each user that can be executed.

However, this will only show users that have at least one requirement assigned where "Is billable" is true.

We want to include all users even if they have no requirements allocated. Kind of like the workflow board will show all users even if they have no work assigned.


What is the impact?

It's difficult to get a clear summary report for all users in Aha

Describe your idea

Make Users a record type available for selection when creating a report. From the user record you could then include data from assigned (associated) initiatives, epics, features, requirements, ideas etc. Even if they have no data to show for associated records the user would still display.
