What is the challenge? |
If I am making changes to activity dates on the Gantt view, and I make a mistake, I have to manually put back all the dependent records that shifted. |

What is the impact? |
Updating dates on any activity becomes high risk - if I mess up something, I have to recreate the correct dates on all my dependent records! This could be a big deal on a complicated project plan. (Less importantly, but also an impact: I'm unable to use this feature for scenario planning - it would be very useful to shift a date just to 'see what happens' and then undo the experiment. An example might be an outside vendor is late on something, and we want to see what happens to the overall plan if they deliver a little late, somewhat late, or very late.) |
Describe your idea |
Make the existing "undo" button on the Gantt view also undo the dependent record dates that shifted. |
