Improve idea submission quality using AI in ideas portals

What is the challenge?

Customers/Stakeholders are submitting ideas with minimal information leaving product managers to have to reach out to get more information in order to assess the idea further.

We can extend the form to include required fields, but this can be a barrier to entry for our submitters if they feel the submission process is too complicated.

We would like an easy way to prompt them to provide the information needed without tons of fields and a complicated process.

What is the impact?

With more complete and informative ideas, we would have less back and forth with the submitter. More quality idea data leads to a simplified review and prioritization process, saving hours of work.

Describe your idea

Ideally, ideas could be run by an AI prompt generated by inputs from the product manager. The data submitted through the AI interface could then be parsed into relevant ideas fields automatically so that data is normalized across ideas inside Aha!
