What is the challenge? |
When my team promotes ideas, we're simply adding them to the roadmap. We haven't prioritized them or determined for sure that we'll deliver the requested feature, yet in Aha there doesn't seem to be a way to stop ideas from progressing to an "in progress" status once they're promoted. Therefore my team has to manually change the status back every time. This throws off reporting and heavily complicates workflows. |
What is the impact? |
Time spent revising idea statuses is lost productivity. Sometimes users forget to change status back and incorrect status notifications go out to customers. |

I'd like the ability to set which status promoted ideas transition to in my workspace settings. |
We also experience this as we may be putting the related work to a Planned or In Development state and the work is 6+ months out. We'd like to manage customer expectations in these scenarios, and having the ability to configure when it changes would be incredibly impactful.
