Add "For workspace" field for epic layout that reflects the release's workspace

What is the challenge?

Users need to click into a release to see which workspace an epic's sits in. This is not very intuitive for new users and adds an unnecessary extra click to view a critical piece of information.

Release has many definitions in our organization and adding in the workspace association in a separate field would help clarify where an epic sits.

What is the impact?

Increased clarity regarding what workspace an Epic is associated with.

Describe your idea

Hi there - Thanks for sharing this idea. Here are a couple of ways you might solve this today.

    Option 1

If this is a reporting view, you can set up report configuration to look like this:

    • Epic

      • Release

        • Workspace

    I've included a screenshot below.

    Option 2

To display an epic's release workspace in a record drawer or details page, you can use a custom worksheet.

In the example below, I have the epic's release name and release's workspace both shown on the record:

Here are the equations I used to create the worksheet:

If this is not quite what you had in mind, please let me know! I'd love to better understand your use case.
