What is the challenge? |
To set effective reporting standards in Aha!, it is important to have a consistent structure of strategic roll-up. For example, product goals connect to product line goals which connect to company goals. The hierarchy report is great for showing this connection and auditing that standards are followed. However, sometimes additional levels of hierarchy may be used for some areas to properly sort workspaces. For example, one product line uses a sub-product line to sort workspaces, even if no strategy is tracked at this sub-product line. The hierarchy report will not let you report across all workspaces the same because one product line has 4 levels of workspace lines vs others that have 3. Even if all workspaces follow the same strategic structure, I need to create separate hierarchy reports to audit each area. |
What is the impact? |
Need to create multiple separate hierarchy reports to report on each area instead of being able to use one across all workspaces following the same strategic structure. |
Describe your idea |
Allow hierarchy report to allow for differences in levels of workspace lines, and instead focus on consistent levels of strategy. This is much more related to how teams set standards in Aha! and allows teams to have flexibility for workspace hierarchy for areas where it is needed. |
