What is the challenge? |
When establishing the integration Smartsheet with Aha!, the integration is very basic. It only allows us to map the information in Smartsheet to one type of item in Aha! (like Releases, Epics, Features ), and it only pulls in a fixed set of details. What we really need is for the integration to recognize the structure of our tasks names in Smartsheet – especially how tasks are indented to show levels of detail – and let us decide how each level should be mapped to the appropriate parts in Aha!'s hierarchy, like Releases, Release Phases, Epics, or Features. |
What is the impact? |
Right now, the integration acts more like a one-time dump of data into Aha!, and it can only go into one level of detail. That means we have to do a lot of manual work afterward to organize the data the right way in Aha! – which defeats the purpose of having an integration. |
Describe your idea |
The idea is to make the integration smarter and more flexible. Ideally, it would look at how tasks are indented in Smartsheet (which shows the structure or hierarchy) and then ask us how we want to map each level. For example:
This would give us a way to bring in detailed, organized information all at once, without needing to manually rearrange it in Aha! afterward. |
