Ability to see who is using custom fields on "personal" reports and dashboards

What is the challenge?

We want to know if someone is using a custom field on a “personal” report or dashboard so we can assist them adjusting their reports/dashboards when the custom field is being discontinued.

Today, we don't have the ability to do such analysis and we apply internal communications to message changes to custom fields. That's not ideal. We want to target the specific impacted audience instead, but we can't.

What is the impact?

Inability to notify impacted users who created reports and dashboards using custom fields that are being discontinued (Bad Change Management).

Describe your idea

It would be great if we could have a report that shows who is using the custom fields on "personal" reports and dashboards. This way, we could handle a better change management process when we make changes to custom fields.
