Pivot Charts - Allow users to click in and view records from pivot chart
What is the challenge? |
Currently if we have a pivot chart on our dashboard, you cannot click into the Summary Totals within cells and see the records which relate |
What is the impact? |
This adds lots of clicks, because if you want to drill in and see what records make up a particular cell/row in the pivot chart, you need to then go and create a list report and filter accordingly |
Describe your idea |
Add the ability to click on the numbers within a Pivot Report and pop-open the List Report view for that cell. This should work in the same way as if you click on a Pie /Bar Chart segment. |

It would be great if clicking on the count, sum, etc in a cell in the pivot table would open a list view of the items making up that number. E.g. if I create a pivot on Ideas, with "product name" for the rows, and a count of Idea names in the cell...
