What is the challenge? |
Currently, a view does not have to be saved before being exported to a whiteboard. Once the view is "exported to a whiteboard as a view", if the whiteboard is deleted, there is no recovering unless it was previously saved. Views in Aha! Roadmaps generally need to be saved prior to being exported. |
What is the impact? |
Exporting a view to a whiteboard creates a whiteboard, but it does not save the underlying report structure. When experimenting with building a report and then exporting it to a whiteboard, it is easy to miss the step of saving the view. If the whiteboard is later deleted, there is no way to get "back" to the report that drove it initially. |
Describe your idea |
Prompt users to save views prior to exporting to a whiteboard. |
👋🏻 Thanks @Guest ! We can see how this could make it easier to access the correct reports again in the future, and we'll look into adding a prompt to save a view before exporting it!
