Lock aspect ratio on dashboards

What is the challenge?

The auto-resizing functionality used by Aha! dashboards makes report panels, text boxes, and images appear at different sizes on different people's computers.

What is the impact?

This provides an uneven visual experience. Dashboards that are optimized to remove the need for scrolling within reports or that are organized with text headers to break up the space will appear differently for different users. This can make dashboards a lot less visually pleasing and less easy to use (for example if auto-resizing means a user gets a very zoomed in view of a roadmap and then must do a lot of scrolling within the report panel to see the information they need).

Describe your idea

I'd like the option to lock the aspect ratio to match the dashboard designers view. Then the dashboard would resize as a full unit based on the user's computer settings, instead of at the report/panel level. This would be like scaling up or down an image in size. It would maintain the relative sizes of panels/reports to one another, making the visual experience more consistent.
