You can now add PDFs in your workspace documents list and knowledge bases! To add a single PDF, navigate to the Knowledge tab, click the Add button in the Knowledge tab, and select Link or file. Then, click the PDF tab and upload your document. You can also add PDFs in bulk through workspace settings > Import documents. Learn more here.

Thanks for sharing this idea! One option you could try today would be to add a link to the documents list that points to your PDF, so that it could show up in the left navigation.
